SEATTLE, WA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/09/10 -- LiquidPlanner, online project management for today's collaborative teams, today announced that it has appointed Eileen McCormack as its new Vice President of Finance. In this capacity, McCormack will be responsible for implementing key financial systems to support the company's expansion, managing day-to-day operations of the accounting department, and establishing financial controls.
"Since launching our commercial service 18 months ago, LiquidPlanner continues to hit one important milestone after another and we are thrilled to have someone of Eileen's stature join our team," said Charles Seybold, co-founder and CEO of LiquidPlanner. "It takes a lot of hard work to build a profitable business in less than two years and the key is truly great people. This is why we are so pleased to have Eileen's experience to help guide us into the next phase of our growth."
McCormack brings more than 25 years of financial and operational expertise to LiquidPlanner. Her past responsibilities have included financial oversight and reporting, policy and procedure design and implementation, budgeting, banking relationships, systems implementation and conversions, as well as legal and human resources. Prior to joining LiquidPlanner, Eileen was the acting CFO of SNAPin Software, Inc., where she was actively involved in the growth of the company from early investment rounds to the sale of the company to Nuance Communications in October 2008. Eileen has held accounting and finance roles at Western Wireless, T-Mobile, NORCOM Networks and Northland Cable TV. She has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington and holds a CPA certificate from the State of Washington
"Although LiquidPlanner competes in a very crowded category, they bring something entirely new and innovative to the market," said Eileen McCormack, Vice President of Finance for LiquidPlanner. "But what really attracted me to the company is the people. They're smart, motivated, and committed to succeed. I'm excited to contribute and help LiquidPlanner deliver on their promise to revolutionize the way teams collaborate and plan."
